Lights & Neighborhoods

Starbright Village

McKinney Park’s drive-thru lights are brighter than ever this year. With Santa Land back up and running this year, enjoy one of the biggest light displays in Odessa and get your annual Santa visit for the year all in one spot. There are over 300,000 light displays and fixtures available for viewing making for a giant photo op in itself. Complete the experience with holiday music and a steaming cup of hot chocolate, you can walk and drive through the display this year.

Winterfest

Winterfest is back this year with all the traditions you remember from the past. With the light parade and the shopping market back from its hiatus last year, the festive spirit is returning in Odessa too. In addition to the Winterfest Market and the Parade of Lights, Downtown Odessa will also have last year's window displays and scavenger hunts to get the entire family in on the Christmas spirit.

Andrews Christmas Lights

Not only is this light show set to music, but local Chamber of Commerce members also serve free hot cocoa. Started as your regular ol’ lit up house, this is a local tradition to visit James Varner’s light show. Check out the history behind the event. It lasts 30-45 minutes, repeating continuously from sundown until 10PM each night through New Years Eve.

Comanche Trail Festival of Lights

If you’re up for a quick drive to Big Spring, be sure to check out the holiday lights at Comanche Trail Park. Pack up the kids, the dog, and whoever else you’re bringing and experience one of the biggest light displays in Texas. Comanche Trail Festival of Lights has more than one million lights covering the beautiful Comanche Trail Park with dozens of Holidays displays to take in from the comfort of your own vehicle with your own holiday playing loudly, obviously. Over 1 million lights bursting with Christmas spirit are ready to greet you nightly from sundown until 10PM through December.

Emerald Forest

If you’re looking to get into the spirit along with your neighbors, then Emerald Forest is the neighborhood for you. This entire street gets in on the holiday spirit with decorations and lights on every house. You definitely need to add this to your Christmas lights this year. 

Shiloh Road Lights

This Odessa family transforms their house from October to December in celebration of both Halloween and Christmas. Whether you’re more into the spooky season or the holiday season, it’s all displayed in lights at this home during these months. This Odessa festive home also works with a horse-drawn carriage service to take you and your family around the neighborhood to see the holiday lights. Parks Legado Christmas Tree Market

Though technically not a giant light display, the market lighting over the Christmas trees sure looks great on these early winter evenings. Make your home extra festive this year with a real Christmas tree from Parks Legado. Not only can you go and pick out a tree for your home, on the weekends Santa may even drop by to visit as well as a vendor market too. Also catch a train ride on the trains going through the facilities for optimal photo ops and of course, Christmas memories.
